We outgrew 14 square meters fast – and momentum gave us Paasitalo.
Our new home at Paasitalo isn’t just an office. It has become a magnet for our community – bringing consultants together under one roof, strengthening the Black Belts network, and giving us a stage for hosting Black Belt level events that simply weren’t possible before.
When we founded Black Belt Consulting, we didn’t need an office (or so we thought). Our model was built to be lean, cost-efficient, and borderless. Why pay for walls when you can build a business without them?
Our very first “office” was 14 square meters. More like a pit stop for the SalesOps than a headquarters. Just enough space to get the basics done. But as we grew, a bigger question came up: what’s the real purpose of having an office?
Not desks. Not square meters. A heartbeat.
For us, an office isn’t about rows of workstations or endless meeting rooms. It’s about something else entirely:
- a place where our community & culture comes alive,
- where ideas spark in the hallway, not just in Slack,
- where the wins and success gets celebrated and shared,
- where we can proudly welcome clients into our world.
We wanted a Black Belt level space that reflects who we are:a gang of fast, fearless, and a little bit playful top expert rebels with the mission of changing the entire consultancy market. And that’s exactly what our new office space screams!
Momentum changed everything
Here’s how it really went down. We were this close (literally hours) to signing another lease. Great service, great space, handshake almost done. And then – pure coincidence.
Our CCO Rolle Isotalo had previously been at an investor meeting in Siltasaari 10. He texted Anniina Korteniemi, Marketing and Communications Manager at Antilooppi, about running an inspiration tour for our office design team. But her answer flipped the script: “Why don’t you just take one of our offices instead?”
Less than a week from almost signing to hell yes. That’s the Black Belts way of doing business.
Paasitalo penthouse = Black Belt standard
The top floor at Paasitalo had everything we didn’t even know we needed: panoramic seaviews, a ready-to-move-in setup, and the right amount of flexibility to scale with our growth.
We painted a few walls black, added our vibe, and boom – Black Belt HQ was ready. A place where sales calls and strategy sessions blend with quick brainstorms and after-work laughs.
Why it matters
Black Belts is the home for the best senior IT experts in the country. They deserve a place that feels as top-tier as they are. A space to fuel culture, community, and creativity.
As Rolle Isotalo puts it:
